Who we are

This site is operated by ECBookks Bookkeeping & Advisory (Emmalee Carreras), Shelton, Connecticut. This page is maintained by the business owner and describes the practices of this website. Questions can be sent to ecbookks@gmail.com.

Information you give us

When you submit the consultation form we collect the name, email address, and message you type. We use that information solely to respond to your enquiry and to keep a record of the conversation. It is stored in our hosted database and emailed to the business owner.

Please do not send bank credentials, account numbers, Social Security numbers, payroll records, or tax documents through the website form. If we engage, we will agree on a secure channel for exchanging those documents.

Information collected automatically

We record anonymous interaction events so we can tell which pages lead to enquiries. Each event stores only: the type of click (consultation, email, or phone), the page path it happened on, a coarse device category (desktop, mobile, or tablet), and the referring website's origin. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or third-party analytics scripts, and we do not build visitor profiles.

These events honour the browser's Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals — if either is enabled, nothing is recorded.

For abuse prevention we store a one-way hashed fingerprint derived from the submitting network address. It cannot be reversed to an address, and it is erased automatically 24 hours after a submission.

Retention

• Consultation messages: kept until the business owner deletes them.
• Anonymous interaction events: deleted automatically after 90 days.
• Abuse-prevention fingerprints: erased automatically after 24 hours.

Service providers

The website, its database, and its transactional email delivery run on hosted cloud infrastructure provided by Lovable and its underlying platform providers. They process this data on our behalf in order to run the site and deliver notification emails. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information you submitted through this site. Email ecbookks@gmail.com and we will respond to your request.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, the administrative area requires an authenticated account that has been explicitly invited, and stored records are protected by database-level access rules. No online service can promise perfect security, and this page is not a certification or an independent audit.
